Steph Gray is a digital consultant, developer and mentor.

Steph previously founded and led Helpful Digital, a full-service digital agency focussed on the government, corporate and policy sectors, for over 10 years. Key clients included: UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Exxonmobil, London School of Economics, British Antarctic Survey, L’Oréal and the Metropolitan Police Service.

He shaped and grew Helpful’s digital capability-building services including Social Simulator, an immersive environment to rehearse crisis and emergency scenarios, used by banks, energy firms, large corporates, security agencies and MBA programs around the world.

Steph agreed a buyout with the Helpful management team in 2021, and his professional focus now is on supporting small teams and individuals with their digital platforms and skills.

His early career included roles in the UK Civil Service, digital agency Reading Room and in social and technology market research with Ipsos MORI.
